Mobile Monday Peer Awards Barcelona 2008

The Mobile Monday Peer Awards are recognized by the industry as one of THE interesting events in the mobile industry. Now it is time for the European round of the Global Peer Awards in Barcelona, at the context of the GSMA World Congress. The European winners will later advance to the Mobile Monday Global Summit in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, 18-22 May 2008, with travel costs covered.

1. early-stage start-ups (founded in 2007, early-stage financing) and
2. emerging start-ups (founded in 2005 and after, in between Series A & B funding).

Every Mobile Monday chapter is invited to nominate one start-up to the Peer Awards Barcelona 2008. Mobile Monday Monte-Carlo is looking for start-ups to nominate for both categories.

Is your company interested in participating? Take part to the nomination process by writing to nominations-AT-mobilemonday.it by the 29th January 2008.

Later on, the organizing committee and jury selects the finalists to present at the Awards event. Entrance into the running is free, but the company travels to Barcelona at its own cost.

There will be three awards in each category:

1. Jury
2. Audience
3. Community (MoMo chapters).

Each winner, and Runner-Up, will be awarded with travel expenses covered to take part in the MoMo Global Summit in Kuala Lumpur in May 2008.


What do winners get?

Worldwide recognition, media attention and prestige. All winners will receive a separate, special "winners" icon, which can be used in own promotion activities. All winners will be invited to participate in the Innovation Pad activities at the Mobile Monday Global Summit in Kuala Lumpur in May.


What do finalists get?

• A finalist status at the Mobile Monday Peer Awards Barcelona 2008
• Worldwide recognition, media attention and prestige.
• Promotion on the Mobile Monday global website.
• Promotion at the event in Barcelona
• The opportunity to present their innovations live, in front of the audience and world-class jury.
• Valuable feedback from the expert jury.
• An official Mobile Monday Peer Awards Barcelona 2008 Finalist digital icon, which can be used in own promotion activities.
